The waterfalls of Tad Sae are not as high as those at Kuang Si, but they are much more numerous. The waterfall is a bit nearer to Luang Prabang, and especially during weekends, this is a popular spot for the locals, who come here for a picnic. On weekdays, the place is much more quiet. You can take a refreshing swim here in one of the pools of the extended waterfall. To reach the Tad Sae, follow route 13 and turn off to the village of Ban Aen, on the Nam Khan, There you can hire a bout, that will take you to the waterfalls in just 10 minutes.
