The Royal Theatre is Luang Prabang is located at the same compound as the Royal Palace. When you enter through the main gate, you will see the theatre on your left hand side. It is not quite cheap to attend a performance here, but you will see some of the best artists of the country in action. The performances typically include a Baci Ceremony, traditional dances and folk music. There are traditional dances of Lao ethnic minorities such as the Phoo Noi and Hmong people.
