This idyllic village along the Nam Ou River, is surrounded on all sides by impressive mountains. It is a good place to do nothing for a while, but it also has some great trekking opportunities.

Muang Ngoi has a very authentic atmosphere, but has long been discovered by tourists. This means that you can find many guesthouses and restaurants here. Some villages around here also offer Accommodation, usually quite basic.
