According to many, the Gibbon Experience is one of the most pleasant activities in Laos. You can experience it in the Bokeo province, somewhere between Huay Xai and Luang Namtha. There is a wonderful National Park, where several short and long zip lines have been attached to the trees. Hanging on this lines, you can sort of fly through the trees, which is really cool. You will sleep in a tree house, about 30 meters above the ground. It is possible to book 3-day tours, exploring the jungle in a small group with an experienced guide.
